Two ways to add leads

SecureMyLead supports adding leads one at a time manually, or in bulk via CSV import. This guide covers the manual flow — if you have a spreadsheet ready, see the CSV import guide.

Step 1 — Open the Add Lead form

Go to the Leads page and click Add Lead in the top right corner. A form will slide in from the right.

Step 2 — Fill in the lead details

Here's what each field does:

First name / Last name — used to personalize messages via {{first_name}} and {{last_name}}Phone — must be a valid US number. Leads are unique by phone number in your account.Company — optional, useful for B2B leadsSource — where the lead came from (e.g. Facebook, Website, Referral). Helps you track which channels are converting.Quote amount — optional dollar amount, available as {{quote_amount}} in templatesRenewal date — for renewal campaigns, available as {{renewal_date}}Notes — internal notes visible only to your team, never sent to the lead

Step 3 — Save and let the sequence run

When you save a new lead, your default follow-up sequence kicks in automatically. The first message gets scheduled based on the delay you've set in your sequence — no action needed on your part.

You can see all scheduled messages and their send times in the lead's timeline.

What happens next

Messages send automatically during business hours (8am–8pm in your lead's timezone). If a lead replies, you'll get a notification and can respond directly from the lead timeline. The sequence pauses automatically when a reply comes in so you don't keep blasting someone who already responded.

Respond to new leads in under 5 minutes

SecureMyLead automates SMS follow-up so you never lose another lead to a slow response.
